The patch at the following link provides an initial support for 310e, for DVB-T and remote control (despite the fact that it is not yet approved for inclusion in the kernel mainly for coding styling issues). It works pretty well!

The i2c protocol is encapsulated within the USB Control messages, looks like it's nothing special but someone would have to spend some time on it.

I don't if someone had this problem before, but i have a pctv 110e (PCI) and when i was using it, my computer was always blocking. It didn't reboot by it self, it just stopped. Now the pctv card just doesn't work, but the pc is fine.
Later i bought a pctv 310e, USB 2.0 external, and the same thing happens.. i can't find out what's wrong whit it.. it's from pinnacle software? It's my motherboard? I've changed my Mboard for a new one meanwhile, same brand, same model, but a new one.. it's a asrock p4vt8+. The computer works fine without the tv card..

Ati radeon 9600XT
win xp pro sp2, up to date
any help?
